So this may be a bit off-topic, but recently I did some research on the success of various shops and I came up with some interesting data…

It seems that, though they offer relatively the same thing, Everything Shops are much, much more popular than single/dual-speciality shops. So I did some more research, and discovered that most Everything Shops' titles included catchy phrases like “Done withing 48 Hours” or “Everything you could ever need!” while most speciality shops did not.
So in conclusion, try including a slogan in your shop title - it'll attract more customers.

To-Do List
Here's a quick glance of what needs to be done at some point soon, mostly from posts since page 90, which is around mid July.

Complete filling of the legislative branch/100 representatives (refer to this list for vacancies. May be outdated, as it's from July 19, 2017.)
There is no such thing as “too early” to declare interest in the next election (December 24-31, 2017.)
Fill six vacancies in the judicial department.
monkeytrooper suggested us to endorse #BringItBack for the discuss button's removal. Although the Scratch Team has officially denied it's return, we can continue to show support for it. The USS will support #BringItBack starting August 8, 2017, simply by having it on the front post.
On endorsements, I am considering an endorsement of isOnline as well.
Continued support for The Scratch Request Shop and 78ch3's Everything Shop!, since they have requested assistance.
Prepare for the August 15-20 activity check.
Prepare for the September 1-7 activity check.
Possible termination or rewrite of ISOOC.

jromagnoli, on the original proposition post, it said the vote will end on “June 6.” If it meant August 6, 2017, then it has passed. Can you provide the results?

Also, voting for the next proposition, #002 - Better Member Directory (by -Anvard-, I think) should be voted on shortly. A rewrite of #001 that was requested by TimeLordPlanet will be voted on immediately after #002, which should be around 1-2 weeks from now.

I am working on a list of all things that should be checked in the activity check, and a list of inactive shops that need support or action upon (perhaps mergers would be nice.)

Inter Shop Help Service [ISHS] Charter (Exec. Action)
Instituted August 8th, 2017 by USS President -Anvard-

Basic Responsibilities
The ISHS program (formerly ISOOC) has three basic responsibilities:

#001 To complete orders that have passed their expiration date in USS Shops**
#002 To ensure that shops seeking help receive the wanted help
• This may coincide with responsibility #001
#003 To ensure that partnerships within the USS are carried out according to the agreed-upon terms

Program Structure
The ISHS program will be run by the USS Secretary or otherwise leader of the Watcher Dept. Watchers will report expired orders to the Secretary who will log them either on an official post or external topic, USS members will then be notified of said addition on the official USS topic. ISHS participants will then proceed to complete orders on this list.

Watchers will also monitor partnerships within the USS, collaborating with fellow Watchers to ensure that the agreement is carried out. Suggested punishment for malpractice of said partners is temporary suspension from the USS.

Amendments
1. The expiration date for any order in a USS shop is two weeks after being ordered unless otherwise specified. (Implemented 8/10/2017)

This likely works with the “please have completed by” part of a shop form, which some shops may not have. What would the substitute to that be if shops do not have a definite expiration date, or would we enforce shops to have one?

Great. If a shop argues that they shouldn't have been punished, we can incorporate the justice system in there.

I will be inactive until around Monday, August 14, 2017, meaning I wouldn't be able to process any upcoming changes involving the proposition list, original post, membership statuses (representative changes and population updates), and accepting applications on my own.

However, the USS should be able to continue function with Co-Owner monkeytrooper, 1st President -Anvard-, 1st Vice President DrChicken24, and 1st Secretary jromagnoli for the next four days. Please do not wait for my response for most things, unless it's a huge question or major concern.

Hmm, I'm thinking two weeks (what ISOOC was operating on) would be good, as that's when customers usually start complaining.
