Making a forum post, text, comment, email, or any other thing of related context is a very delicate art. A good post balances between keeping a nice consistent online social status and sharing your opinion and information you have about the topic.

There are many different methods of creating a forum post, many different dialects of the way you portray your thoughts in text. you can type all lowercase. Y0u c4n 1yp3 41m05t 3ntir3ly 1n num83r5. You can end every single sentence with a smiley There are way, way too many to list all in one post, which is actually why I made a topic about it.

This topic is intended to encourage the discussion of how you type your posts, comments, emails, PMs, etc. What dialects do you use? How long does it take you to write a post? What is your opinion on other ways of typing? Do you even care about these things or do you think this is a really stupid subject to talk about?

I think it's because most forums annoyingly change a post with ALL CAPS LIKE THIS to something like All Caps Like This.

This topic is kind of stretching the forum too much. Remember that the MaC forums are for talking about media you create. A thread about online and forum posting etiquette doesn't really quite fit - maybe you can make a project about it instead.
