Note this is NOT a new political topic, it's an entirely different suggestion.

Clearly this whole ST political policy thing is very controversial.

People want to discuss it, but the ST keeps closing threads for various reasons (normalising homophobia, going off-topic, reopening closed topics)

So could we reopen one that is closed for the last reason?

It would mean less work for the ST, and this is an issue that people clearly believe is unresolved.

Note that the original topic was still allowed to run on after the ST had given their position, but it was closed for going off-topic.

I think people should still be allowed to discuss something after the ST has given their position, if a lot of people are unhappy with the position.

Who knows, we might even be able to change your minds.

Just keep the first one open. The first one had the most support.


Maybe the ST will change their minds in a billion years.
