First Storyline

It's the year 2217, and the world is in chaos, Europe has fallen under the rule of Germany under an iron dictator. Vietnam and Japan are fighting North Korea for control of Asia. Australia was turned into nothing but endless oil fields, and American and Canada formed one country known simply as the C.A.D., which is short for the Canadian-American Democracy. The world is teetering on the brink of war and mass conscription is a usual sight for citizens of the remaining countries. Then one day….. The world was no more. North Korea fired an experimental weapon into Japan, breaking Asia into 14 different islands, killing most everyone. Germany fired it's advanced MK 19.2 nukes at the C.A.D. which in response launched all it's doomsday weapons back. In the process, almost all life was wiped out.

Now, in 2378, life is hard, most families are farmers in North America under the protection of the C.A.D. remnants, now known simply as the “Guardians”. Though there are several detachments of the “Guardians” such as the 303rd Protectors, 704th Angels of Mercy, and the original group, the 1st Guardians, they all are friendly to one another and work together at times. The 1st Guardians protect the great plains and farms of the central US. (The rest of the storyline is where RP events shape it).

After a small North Korea rebellion killed his brother, Kenshin began trying to rebuild Japan. Decades past, and a new government is formed called NJR (New Japanese Republic) solely led, by Kenshin. When Kenshin turned 87, he loss use of his legs and began to rule from a large naval fleet in the pacific.
Misc: Despite being raised in Japan, Kenshin speaks fluent English and Japanese
