I need some help: Devices that are usually in the “Network” section of Explorer show up in Devices and Printers. Not all do, so how can I add a network device into Devices and Printers? Thanks.Here will help

I did, just try it, later it asks for the IP, you lie, and It thinks it is a printer but when you click it opens it in windows explorer(or whatever else you chose)It won'tI need some help: Devices that are usually in the “Network” section of Explorer show up in Devices and Printers. Not stuck or anything, but it's quite strange the screen uses Windows XP icons. Not a problem, happens in a lot of places in Windows 7.okayI am trying your method. The “Brother” printer drivers worked for me.first box: microsoft Which driver am I supposed to select in the “Install the printer driver screen”?
second box: <was something like Remote Printer or Remote Device>

Done! I used the Devices and Printers Metadata Authoring Wizard to make Windows think it's a wireless router and not a printer. One thing I have a question about is though while Windows now knows it is a wireless router, it still has the print queue. Why is this? Another thing is that it doesn't seem to detect that it is wirelessly connected. The first issue is more of an issue than the last one, but I would still like them both fixed. If it's not possible, then that's fine.
(I used your method to add my router into Devices and Printers by the way, will use it for other devices.)
