Hey, about that problem where my USB receiver showed up as a keyboard/mouse, and my TV showing up as a DVR etc: I fixed it. The link with the program for changing device data, I finally figured it out. Seems like my localization settings were off. I live in the UK, but because my PC was probably made in the US, the language was set to American English. Not knowing this, I had set the localization settings on the program to British English. Thanks for the help!

Also, it may take a while for the next PC tutorials, I just don't really want to do it right now.

Also some info if anyone decides to use the device data changing program: It's very hard to figure out. It seems the tutorial in the link has some wrong info, which means you may get multiple devices which are the same. It's easy to figure out what's wrong, only select 1 hardware ID, not all that is needed. Also make sure you select IDs that are not generic, like the one that's something like “HID:UMBUS” or something like that, as they are used by almost all devices, therefore the device you edited will replace other devices.

I don't think we should just let people in without knowing if they are actually good at computers. Before accepting people, you should ask a few things about what they know about computers, and make sure you ask stuff about these things, like if someone says they know about hard-drives, ask them a hard-drive related question, to see if they really do know about hard-drives. Anyone who joined the shop before this will also have to do this.

Basically the same as what you put only I put that to input a virus you would have to change the HTML code of pretty much the whole website, and it doesn't save anyway so it's impossible.
