1. No support, distracting.
2. Semi-support, this could make Scratch look like social media…
3. Support, this is a really good idea! It would also make the forums more welcoming.
4. I don't understand. You mean it would say that on the topic, people who had posted in it would receive the notification, or it would appear if somebody tried to post? And what's the difference between preventing and blocking?
1. Intended to add a little spice to the webpage, but not being too distracting. It'll use solid colors such as brown or lightblue, but not anymore or in distracting styles.
2. True.
3. Alright!
4. Well right now that suggestions flexible. It could work in two different ways:
A) The suggestion completely prevents anyone from posting except the OP (Original Poster) after a long period of time.
B) The second suggestion just alerts them about necroposting, but they could still post. It's just a warning rather than a restriction.

Support to 1, 2, and 3.
1) I think that this would make the forums look friendly to kids.
2) I don't like how ( ) is pixelated.
3) New Scratchers will understand what each forum is for.

1. It's going to be in a theme-styled color
2. Scratch already is social media; please don't use this argument :)

About the emoji one: No support, I know it's 2016 but I hate Metro/Windows 8 style UI. When Scratch 3.0 comes out I'll either still be using 2.0 or a userscript that makes 3.0 look like 2.0.
Alright, that's an opinion. (0.75 support?)

Thanks for reading,

%0 support, actually.
EDIT: Changed to 0.15% support.

Alright, understood - however I'm substituting the percentile statistic with a list of supporters and semi-supporters.

Thanks for reading,
Austinato

I think you shouldn't add how much support you have and just let people come on their own…

That's just me

Alright, but I did mention how the OP may post if they want, and that this won't apply to Suggestion forums.

Semi support, I support 4 but not 1-3. The current emoticons are fine and the emoticon you suggested is too… immature and cartoony. Colouring is meh, I wouldn't mind either way. The not being able to just say support makes no sense because sometimes all the reasons are mentioned in the post. On the other hand, just say “No support” wouldn't be good, so if you replace the not being able to say just “Support” with not being able to say just “No support” then I support 3 as well.

Semi-Support for 1-3, but no support for 4, We can be free to post what we want on any post, and besides, its really only necroposting if you dont contribute to the discussion or if you aren't bumping it.

Umm how is saying “Support” non-Constructive?

How is this:

"Support, I like your idea because it adds [reason here]"

The opposite of constructive? I think you should fix it to say whenever you're posting add a reason to why you do.
