If it's on GitHub, there's no real point in having a password anyways (and even if you did want to, please don't put it in the JS )
Hey. It is a password that people get to test the alpha… Please do not share it.

Thanks,
Csf30816
Also, soon it will be in the PHP where no one can see it
Security through obscurity is no security at all.

Please hash your passwords. And for account passwords please hash them.

Security is through maths, not keeping the PHP secret – waiting for somebody to find a security bug in the OS you use.

It is already easy to bypass.. it was like in the code, and you could set a cookie to true. You don't have to change the password, because everybody who actually checks this thread could've found the password by looking at the code.

We do not need to change the password, because the non-alpha-testers don't know the link to enter it on anyway. Also if we changed the password, we would need to send all the current 60+ alpha testers another message saying the password has changed.

If you do disagree with me, for a reasonable reason, please tell me.

You basically link to it from the original post

Don't use github pages for anything that you want to be private

Time on Scratch: Over a year
Applying for backend or fronted? I wanna be a designer
Do you know HTML5? Nope
Do you know CSS? Nope
Do you know Javascript? Nope
Do you know Node.JS? Nope
Example (give me a snippet of HTML, CSS or PHP made by you!): https://banana439monkey.github.io
Why do you want to apply? I want to apply because this team is now lacking a designer.
What is DragonDrop? A CMS.
Have you ever worked on a big project on this before? Yes. Ask away.
Do you know what your job means & involves? If so, what? Yes. It means creating things like logos and other images.
Why should we pick you rather than others? I have a high level of experience in art.
Dedication: 10/10

I hope you guys know that as long as your repo is public, it really doesn't matter whether or not someone posts the password in this forum or not. :-P If you're worried about password security, pay the 60 bucks per year to GitHub for private repositories or move to GitLab.

No, we will be switching it to PHP. Right now we just are setting something up for the alpha testers to get feed back.

Nothing, though if your going to do that we would love for feedback to come. That's why we are giving it out through the alpha tester studio
