Following Project Notifications
I don't expect anyone to agree with this because the Suggestions forum is so negative.
I have an idea. I've been meaning to write about it for a while, but I've kept putting it off. Now, I'm finally writing it.
So, I think that you should receive a notification in your inbox whenever someone you're following creates a project. The reason I follow people is so I can access their projects, and so I can check and see if they made a new project. It would be easy if you just got a notification in your inbox when someone you are following created a project.
This would also help projects get more views.
I know that people who do F4F might not like this idea. I think that it would help revert the Scratch following system back to what it originally was supposed to be used for. Of course, I'm not saying that this would hurt F4F - it would just promote the founding principle of what following was originally meant for.
I think this would be a neat feature to Scratch. Of course, I know lots of people probably disagree. *Sigh* Hopefully, though, some people will like this idea!
Post your opinions below! Thanks!

Support, for a togglable notification.
Edit: I think there are some duplicates.
Edit2: Duplicate. Please check if the suggestion has already been made before posting. If there is an older topic, feel free to support/no support and bump it, instead of splitting the conversation into two topics.

Hmmmmmm…
What about the stream on the FP and the projects by scratchers I'm following section.
Its a good idea but it wouldn't be at the top of the update list as we already have something similar.
Also there should be a turn off button otherwise if you followed someone who shares alot of projects it would be spam (removed by moderator - please keep it polite) .
All in all good idea but it would have to be altered.

Please use the existing topic in the link above.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
