So i was in my game making stuff
i forgot how to do something but i remembered i used the code to do it so in my another game
so i opened the game checked whats the code and then realized it just overwrited my previous game
yes, i save it by scratch i thought at first its quite nice feature
now around 3 days of work gone…
seriusly?

please do something about it whoever did this program

Could you give us a link to your overwritten project?

I'll assume you meant for this to be put in the bugs and glitches section, as it seems the only place fitting..

But I'm not sure this is a bug with Scratch. If you overwrote your project by importing another project on top of it, that's technically you're own fault. I recommend always keeping backups of big projects, to do that just download the project from the file menu inside the editor.

May want to tone down your language there!

ofc im mad because the system how it works is pretty low. how comes that it overwrites.
its funny that everytime i join scratch it just creates a blank project to “my stuff” but it doesnt create a new one when i need it

i understand your problem that its a bit rude, but i just want my project back, not speaking and stuff, i want some kind help, how can i get back my project.

i heard every project is in the database even if you delete. it must be there…

can you help me as well? the same thing happened to me. i know its my fault but is there any way i can get it back? i worked on it for over a month now and its due today for a school assignment
