SM Productions:
Not too long ago, EncloCreations created a collaboration called the SM Productions project, which would create an hour long movie. Not much work actually happened, and Enclo later left Scratch. So, the co-manager, MakeTheBrainHappy (owner of Makethebrainhappys Shop ﷼ ∞ Infinite Possibilities ∞ ﷼) reunited the project. Many members of Infinite Possibilities joined SM, and vice-versa. More members joined, and the project actually got work done. However, EncloCreations suddenly re-joined Scratch once again, and demanded ownership back. After a long agreement, Enclo kept the original project, and renamed it the Edge Project. The project started by MakeTheBrainHappy kept the SM name, and work will continue. Only time will tell how these two projects end up.
For more information on the original SM (now Edge) visit the thread here. For more information on the SM Project, visit the thread here.

Collaboration Feature~ Next-Era Collaborations
Next-Era Collaborations started in early 2015 with a whole page of Bumps. It was founded by CrazyGoldfish3, and he quickly found a wave of Collaborators, all from previous Collaborations or Shops. The Collaboration had an interesting goal, a game with nonstop motion. However, Next-Era became very inactive, and they had little done. That is why CrazyGoldfish3, the Collaboration founder, off of a 2 month period of no access to Scratch, decided to destroy the Collab. However, it raised higher protest then he thought, so he decided to wipe out a portion that was useless, and they voted to begin a new project, a very unique platformer. Now, Next-Era is currently hiring and is getting started on their project. Their future, no one will know until they get there.

The Perfect Pane ~ A short story
By S. C. Random
It happened on a film set. I was eleven at the time. My teacher was the director of the film and he invited the whole filmmaking class to come and watch him shoot it. A real film. He said we could be in it too, just as extras. Of course I accepted. Who wouldn't? Most of the class came. They seemed to be interested during the first two days, but after that they went and played Minecraft most of the time in the Production Room, which was basically the break room for us students and the lunch room for the crew and actors. I preferred to stay on set though. And so I did, helping the script supervisor. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.
_____
The week sped by. On the last day, I was a bit bored. having finished the book I brought for breaks and nothing was being shot on set. I went to the Production Room and took out an index card from my bag. Within a couple of minutes, I had fashioned myself a paper plane, simple and not very good. One of the crew members that was in the room at the time stepped towards me. “Here,” he said. “Try to make a V-shape. It flies smoother that way.” He demonstrated it as he spoke and handed it back. He then left the room. I tested the plane out. Perfect. I went and threw it around for a bit, each time receiving perfect results. I left the room and was heading back to the set when I passed a staircase. Another boy, Lucas, was there with me. I leaned over the third-story staircase railing and threw the plane. It glided down smoothly, curved and disappeared from our sight, going down to the second floor. I went down to retrieve it, Lucas behind me. We didn't find it, even after five minutes of searching. There was no sign that the plane had ever existed. I got another index card and tried to replicate the perfect plane. I couldn't get close to how good that one was. I asked the other crew members if they were the one that had helped me with the plane, since I had forgotten. None of them had. I went on looking, but all traces of the plane and my helper were gone.
_____
Even now, thirty years later, I still have no idea where the plane and my helper disappeared to. Perhaps he simply left, taking the plane with him. Or it's still in that building where I originally lost it, sitting hidden from our sight. But I do have a clue. Sixteen years ago I went to the park and I saw a boy, playing with an index-card plane. The plane had perfect precision and it was shaped like a V. About five minutes later, I looked back at the boy. He was looking around the entire park, his eyes swollen and red. And his plane was gone. I believe that he never found it again, but it may have been a coincidence. But there is one thing I know for sure. I will never forget the perfect index-card plane.
